Silverware Barbara made in a blacksmithing class. Keith was overwhelmed with Barbara’s talent.
“Keith’s” car ready for the ride back to Highland Drive (as seen through the open door of Barbara’s barn)
On the way back, we passed Keith’s sculpture “Rolling through the path of life” disguised for the holidays as “One-eyed Xmas caroler in the fort”
Bravely holding back hot tears, I left Keith in the driveway. ‘It’s better this way,’ I thought to myself, ‘welding really never did appeal to me.’
