Public Art Project Manager, Jennifer Easton,
and Barbara Goldstein, Public Art Director
of San Jose’s Office of Cultural Affairs, get
the Power Point presentation underway

The footprint and traffic flow for the fire trucks at the
new station will be very similar to the old Station 2

The floor plan shows a second story on the west
end of the building. The firefighters will sleep in
this area – and, yes, there is a fireman’s pole!

Captain Jim Corey, an SJFD firefighter with
fine arts expertise explains the possibilities
for placing art installations in the new building.
